The God of Abraham and Issac's true Savior

Paid our debt though His blood His love does not waver

With false testimonies on trial they accused Him

Sentencing Him to death our Lord who's without sin

Pilate tortured the Lord shackling Him in chains

His love for the Romans made him side with their fame

Holy Virgin Mary her tears she could not hold

As she watched on the Cross her son suffer unclothed

The feet that stood on a holy throne made of light

They were nailed for the sins He came to overwrite

The one that gave a crown of light to all the saints

Wearing a crown of thorns on Calvary He stayed
