The ALmighty God is Gracious

The Almighty God is gracious

He is my safe haven through times of hardships

እግዚአብሔር መልካም ነው

በመከራ ቀንም መሸሸጊያ ነው

When our father Adam was banished from Eden

Death had reigned over us making us feel beaten

As promised to save him so he would not falter

During his suffering He became his shelter

The Almighty God is gracious

Abraham left Harran his abode and homeland

With faith entered Canaan following God’s command

He put his hope in Him and he wasn’t deprived

Became vast like the sand his seed was multiplied

In sorrow and trials times of my misery

From my anxious spirit He removes my worry

Evil serpent of old may rob me of my peace

But my God is gracious my pain came to a cease
